Grey-eyed; owl-eyed. An epithet of Athena.

The name

Clear sight in low light

Athena, goddess of wisdom and counsel, was called glaukopis, the owl-eyed. Her owl sees most clearly at dusk, when the light is low and the path is harder to make out. Owlight Advisory takes its name and its owl from that idea.

About

Sarah Maegdlin, Founder

Sarah brings a decade of management consulting, Chief of Staff, and operations experience with nonprofits, associations, and mission-driven organizations. She has worked as an embedded senior operator inside client organizations, stepped into interim executive roles, directed client services, and facilitated engagements from board retreats to organizational diagnostics.

She has also worked on the software side of the association world, partnering with associations and nonprofits on the platforms they use to engage their members. She founded Owlight Advisory to offer that combination of facilitation, strategy, and follow-through directly to the organizations that need it.

Sarah's training is in dramaturgy (a BFA from Texas Christian University), which has proven useful preparation for reading a room and giving a difficult conversation its structure.
